Native of Montalcino for several generations, the Fattoi family controls every aspect of the production of their Brunello in the southern side of Montalcino, where the Orcia and Ombrone rivers meet. Their wines always present the rustic charm of Brunello, combining a broad bouquet with an indulging taste typical of the appellation. The wine opens with rare intensity, an effusion of dark fruits such as black currant and blackberry, wild rose and graphite: very ample and complex, with elegant spices of sandal and cedarwood, sweet chocolate, sweet coffee. Palate is indulging, warm, aristocratic. An explosion of blackberry and raspberry, mouthwatering freshness and savoriness to balance the structure, with a majestic tannin, perfectly carved into a beautiful still-life painting of wild roses, exotic fruits, oranges, pomegranates.
