Poliziano Merlot Cortona Doc 'In Violas'

The formation of the DOC Cortona in 1999, the immediate affirmation of the region's suitability for international vines, and the friendship of the Aliotti Tommasi family, owners of premium lands, were all decisive factors in the initiation of Poliziano's enological project in Cortona. Convinced of the distinctive potential of the Merlot cultivated in the Pliocene clay of Cortona, we began bottling "In Violas" in 2006.
