Made from the older vines planted by father Siro between the 70s and the 80s, this Brunello di Montalcino is deep and introspec;ve: intense notes of cocoa, cigar, dark fruits such as blackberry, earthy notes of mushroom and a balsamic touch of eucalyptus, combining the elegance of Brunello with the intensity of 2017 vintage and the austere character of older vines, whose yields are much lower, delivering incredibly concentrated grapes. Palate is warm, intense and savory, with a great impact of wild berries and a balsamic touch that recalls the warm vintage: all this power is pleasantly balanced by the freshness typical of Sangiovese, the tannin has a firm grip due to the high concentra;on of the wine but it is tamed by the use of barriques and by the triumphant effluvium of red fruits for a never-ending, succulent finish.
