Planted in 1956, the Petit Verdot vineyard gives a surprising version of a ‘cool climate Supertuscan’, with notes of concentrated red fruits, cherry in spirit, chocolate, leather, roasted red pepper and a note of elegant underbrush such as truffle. Palate is rich, succulent, with a sapid touch that appears to be the trademark of the house. A long-lasting flavor of blackberry and chocolate, leads to a firm but well integrated tannin.
