Pietroso is a small company famous for its excellent Brunello located just outside the Montalcino. The farm is located on a hill surrounded by woods and clearings, where Gianni Pignattai and his family make Sangiovese wine following the old recipe. The estate is actually made up of three vineyards, each with slightly different characteristics, even though none is below 350 meters in altitude. This aspect is of fundamental importance to ensure freshness and tension to the Sangiovese.
